Minnesota Crew Masters the Small Space

In a small backyard space, Task Master Landscaping put in an outdoor kitchen, a waterfall and a deck.

Our clients had very little space in their back yard, and they wanted to make the most of the space. They entertain a lot and wanted a space that included an outdoor kitchen, a waterfall and a deck.

When we designing the project, we knew the water feature would be the focal point. We wanted to maximize the views from the the house, the deck and the new kitchen below. We achieved that by starting the waterfall at deck-level, having it fall into a small holding pond and then drop into the large pond seven feet below. This created a very dramatic effect.

One of most interesting areas in the project was the bar with the bar stools backing right up to the pond and waterfall. The outdoor kitchen was a mixture of mahogany cabinets, stainless-steel Viking appliances and exotic granite all curved to match the steel reinforced Ironwood deck above.

The project was the epitome of quality not quantity for our clients. They report enjoying every square foot of of their back yard space.
