IPPCA Names Jacob Bright of Living Art Water Gardens a Five Star Contractor

 | Jacob A. Bright, owner of Living Art Water Gardens Inc. in Huntsville, Ala., received International Professional Pond Contractor Association’s Five Star Contractor Award for 2010. IPPCA presents the Five Star Contractor Award each year to the association member who receives the highest overall customer satisfaction rating.
Bright has been involved in the water garden industry since 1997, first with his first installation company, Watershcapes Unlimited Inc., and then Living Art Water Gardens in 2003. Bright said he was really surprised about winning the award this year.
IPPCA created its online customer satisfaction rating form in 2004 as a tool to help association members assess their business practices. "Each contractor ask his customers to fill out the online rating form," said Gloria Jones, secretary/treasurer for the IPPCA. The Five Star Contractor Award acts as an incentive for members to use the customer satisfaction rating form, according to IPPCA.
Bright received the Five Star Contractor Award, including a trophy and a check for $1,000, at IPPCA’s 6th annual InfoTanza industry trade show held Oct. 19-23 in Atlanta, Ga. IPPCA's corporate member, EasyPro Pond Products Inc., sponsored the Five Star Contractor Award.
"Bobbie went home [from InfoTanza] last year and sent out a request to customers to fill out the [customer satisfaction rating] form," Jones said. "They wanted this year’s award. All forms submitted in 2009 were considered for the 2010 award."
Previous Five Star Contractor Award winners include Brenda Sorrells of Georgia, Peter Stopen of New Jersey and Toby Ladd of Indiana.
