Trade Group Launches Special Pricing Promo

The International Professional Pond Companies Association, based in Woodstock, Ga., began a monthly "special pricing" email program through which manufacturer and distributor IPPCA members could offer contractor and retailer IPPCA members discounts and other incentives.
The group distributed its first such email in mid-January, featuring an offer from IPPCA president John Olsen's Graystone Industries. Graystone offered clearance prices on limited quantities of 227 SKUs of pond and fountain equipment and supplies from vendors and brands including Cal Pump/Little Giant, Rio & Via Aqua Fountain and Aquarium Pumps, Anjon, Fountain Pro Pumps, Microbe-Lift, American Pond, Atlantic Water Gardens, Alpine, American Pond Water Treatments, Pondmaster, Pond Builder, EasyPro and Firestone Pond Liner. Graystore's inventory was 30 or less on 199 of the items.
Products came with full manufacturers warranties but payment was due at time of purchase to take advantage of the special deal. Graystone offered free UPS Freight shipping on orders greater than $1,500 and discounted freight by 50 percent for orders greater than $1,000.
The program is free for all members as a member benefit.
