Pondliner Kicks Off Spring Season

Pondliner.com, a division of Shawnee, Okla.-based Unit Liner Co., hosted its third annual spring kick-off event Feb. 6-8 in Shawnee.

Bob Dews drew a crowd to his indoor seminar on edging techniques and natural pond design during Pondliner.com’s third annual spring kick-off event.

Bob Dews of Xstream Ponds in Cashiers, N.C., conducted a daylong pond construction seminar on the first day, focusing on advanced edging techniques and natural pond and waterfall design. Because of heavy rain on the previous day, Dews’ program moved into Pondliner’s indoor pond-building facility where instructor and attendees enjoyed a “climate-controlled construction area,” according to Unit Liner’s Randy Stewart.

Speakers on the other days included Anita Nelson of Nelson Water Gardens, Jeff Spillars of the Winston Co., Gene Ashe of MDM Inc. and Brett Thompson of Cal Pump.
